HSINCHU, August 10, 2021 / PRNewswire / – ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC. (“ChipMOS” or the “Company”) (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 8150 and NASDAQ: IMOS), a leading provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and testing (“OSAT”) services, said today hui consolidated financial results for the second quarter ended June 30th, 2021. All US dollar figures cited in this press release are based on the exchange rate of NT $ 27.91 against $ 1.00 from June 30, 2021.
All figures have been prepared in accordance with Taiwan-International Financial Reporting Standards (“Taiwan-IFRS”).
Sales for the second quarter of 2021 amounted to NT $ 6,982.3 million or US $ 2500.2 million, an increase of 8.0% over NT $ 6,465.3 million Where US $ 231.6 million in the first quarter of 2021 and an increase of 28.6% compared to NT $ 5,4280.1 million or 194.5 million US dollars for the same period in 2020, mainly due to strength in key markets and higher ASP.
Net non-operating expenses in the second quarter of 2021 were NT $ 18.9 million Where US $ 0.7 million, compared to net non-operating income NT $ 25.3 million Where US $ 0.9 million in the first quarter of 2021.
